City of Houston Turnaround Virtual Job Fair this weekend

Our local Workforce Solutions office puts on a lot of job fairs (full calendar here) but it seems worth highlighting this City of Houston-sponsored job fair going on this weekend. The event runs all weekend and the flyer touts >1000 job openings and job search/training assistance. registration link

Workforce Solutions also offers help like thousands of dollars in education grants/upskilling for unemployed people so this could be a good opportunity to start that process also. There is an energy industry event going on at the same time (check the calendar for the link) for those interested in that sector.
