City of Houston declares red stoplights are now optional.

At least .. that's the only explanation that I can think makes sense. I see people blow through stale 'dark' red lights daily now like it's just a casual suggestion or not even there. Galleria, Sugarland, Pearland, Downtown, NRG area, River oaks… Everywhere.

What the hell is going on with this place?!
