Citizens Climate Lobby has local chapters that aim to build political and social will for pro-climate policies.

We write and call Senators, the President, and Congress representatives to advocate for a price on carbon with border adjustments to speed up the transition to renewable resources.

We write letters to the editor for multiple media outlets to voice our demands.

We initiate community outreach to local businesses and organizations to endorse and affirm our goal of protecting the environment, which also protects the economy.

CCL builds bipartisan relationships with local government. We use this community support from businesses and organizations to maintain pressure for change.

I recognize this will trigger some who have benefited from the O&G industry. My heart goes to you, I have family who made a living that way. I’d love to talk more about carbon sequestration and how fungible skilled labor is towards renewable energy jobs.
