Cinephiles… I’m struggling trying to find a movie theater!

I tried out River Oaks theater- I really loved the space & programming but could not stand the uncomfortable seats. I understand their budget is likely on the smaller side but missing a ton of indie movies I read/hear about and it's pretty painful to sit through long movies like One Battle After Another.

I switched to Regal for the seats and there are more showings but the indie offerings are still limited. Also there have been a few times I've been and people were loudly talking during the films :/

I'm struggling because I just heard an NPR segment promoting The Mastermind and now of course I really want to watch it but it's nowhere to be found inside the loop. I was spoiled with the Alamo Drafthouse in the past and have been struggling with this adjustment! I've always had a movie membership but I'm feeling like I may need to mix and match my theaters and or just need to be patient until they're available on streaming services.

Anyone else feel the same? 🥲
