Churches in Houston

I don't know what's up with the churches in Houston. Apparently, they have lost a major lesson, Genesis 42:19 instructs people to carry grain for the famine of their households.

I have approached many churches with the prospect of starting a community garden on land they are paying $1000s a year to manicure. One specifically reiterated to me “We are a church, we are not interested in that”.

Idk what to say….they beg for peoples money then turn around and waste it on maintaining grass space that they rarely use….why.
