Christmas/Thanksgiving Volunteer Opportunities

I'm looking for volunteering opportunities in the Houston area for the holiday season. I would love to do volunteering where you wrap present for kids in need. I'm having trouble finding legit opportunities through Google and I'm not a part of a church where I assume many people access volunteering events. If you know of any, I would greatly appreciate it.
