Chevron Marathon photo spots?

Hey yall,

Friend is doing his third Marathon, I've gone to two to cheer him by mid race because it starts way too early.

Want to be a better friend and have some good photography gear, but the spot by Micro Center sucks, yall know of a good location past the first half?
