Checking out Houston/Spring/Woodlands

Spending a long weekend based in Woodlands for possible job move. Would be a move from Denver and we really don’t want to leave the mountains but if the job ends up being right we’re considering it. Are there any recommendations for food/things to see or do that might help sell us on the area? We like our local brewery for pub trivia. Any good, small board/RPG/CCG shops in Spring or Woodlands? Any great quilting/fabric/embroidery shops? Thanks in advance!
