Cheap taco spot Tacos La Bala on Beechnut raised price from $1.45 to $2.60 – any recommendations?

I was so shocked. End of an era. I'm so disappointed. RIP Our last cheap taco spot La Bala on Beechnut. $1.45 to $2.60 is ruthless. I've been going there for years with the $1.45 until a few weeks ago and I went today and couldn't stomach the increase.

I know there are a lot of Tacos La Bala around but their prices on Beechnut were always much lower than the other locations so we would go to this one when we go to the H-E-B Boil House.

I do not know if they doubled the size but I doubt it.

Who else sells good tacos for $1.45 still? Or anything sub $2?
