Charging an EV?

Edit: the plug is J1772

We are in town for medical appointments and rented a car at IAH yesterday to return tomorrow. They didn’t tell not tell us and we didn’t realize it was an EV. (How didn’t we realize? Listen. We’re wondering the same.) Which is an inconvenience because not only have we never used one, it seems the charge is going to take hours.

We’re in the medical center area but there doesn’t seem to be any in the immediate vicinity, we looked on the Plug Share app.

Can anyone direct me towards the best place to charge this? Maybe somewhere we could stay a few hours? We will have a bit of free time this afternoon. Thank you!
