Changing Refrigerator Water Filter after Boil Water Notice?

How many of you are actually changing your frig water filters after the boil water notice? I haven't heard of any cases of people being sick, so I am tempted to pass on changing my filter. I have to mail order it, and I guess I'm lazy. Thoughts?
