Champions Emergency Services District hires first full-time paid fire chief is district history

Shelor, who has served as the district’s part-time fire chief since May 2010, has served the community in various capacities throughout his career beginning as a volunteer firefighter with the Champions Area Volunteer Fire Department in 1987 at the age of 17.
