CenterPoint Scheduled Outages

I got the dreaded text today stating that starting Monday there will be outages in my area. The text says it will be between 4 to 8 hours. Has anyone experienced these outages yet? I saw online that it started last week. If you were part of last week’s group: was it a one day thing, or multiple days? Not sure how to prepare for this. Appreciate the tips and shared experiences!
