New improvements to our electric Outage Tracker tool
CenterPoint Energy is proud to announce the launch of the new and improved Outage Tracker tool available to our electric customers across the greater Houston area. The new Outage Tracker is one of many ways we are continuously working to keep you informed about an outage.
Key Outage Tracker features:
- Clickable clusters to focus on outages in your area
- Outage statistics and restoration status
- Advisory section for reporting weather or system status
Other improvements to provide customers with timely outage information include:
- Enhanced service maps
- Clickable outage clusters allow for easy navigation and event information
- Ongoing updates to estimated restoration times
- Updated outage causes to provide more transparency
- New message templates for Power Alert Service (PAS) registered customers
- More timely delivery of notifications for PAS registered customers
- Proactive messaging related to system reliability enhancement work
