Centerpoint Gas problem

Hey guys I have a problem with my gas provider. They shut off my gas! When I called them ask why the representative informed me the gas company was doing maintenance work that required to turn it off and because no one was home they could turn it back on. Well I used the stove and hot water in the evening and today in the AM so that was a blatant lie. When I told them this information they wouldn’t give me an answer as to why they turned off my gas. They just said someone would be at my house to turn it back on, I tried asking for a confirmation number of something to act as proof of our conversation but the rep would not give me anything. It’s past work hours so I doubt someone will come to turn on my gas. Have any of you had similar problems? How can I resolve this? Do they have moves here? I am not behind on bills so that cannot be a problem. Sorry for typos and grammar doing this on mobile
