Catalytic Converter

I was informed I needed a new Catalytic converter. It wasn't stolen just in need of a new one. I don't have the money to have it replaced. Will the car hold up ok? 2014 Toyota Corolla. Honestly, not worried about an inspection sticker. I have that covered 🙂
