Cat rescues? There are two stray cats at my work, one looks like he was shot 😡

So there’s a ton of strays where I work (med center) but today is the first day I’ve seen two that need medical attention

One is a kitten about 4 months I’d think and he’s got some sort of metal imbedded into his side and it’s healed up around it so it’s been there a while. My uneducated guess is someone shot him. He’s a friendly little guy and I’d love to get him some help.

His mother is missing about half her fur, mange is my guess but again I’m not expert. Her back half fur is much much shorter than the top half. Again she’s friendly but a tad skittish.

Anyone know who I could contact? I’d rather not just contact animal control because I know that organizations like that may not have the resources and so then they have to euthanize the animals. These two are friendly kitties that I think would make wonderful pets and if I wasn’t already owned by 3 cats I’d gladly take these two in.
