Cat at Oakdale & Almeda

I'm not from Houston but I encountered this kitty by the corner of Oakdale & Almeda by Museum Park. It clearly looks like someone's cat. It's very friendly and has a collar but the tag clearly has fallen off. I'm unable to take it with me right now so I'm posting with the hope of someone finding it's cat and coming to scoop it up.
