Caserio watch

Okay I’ve been about as down on this franchise as anyone and I hate McNair and Easterby and what they have done this team as much as anyone…

That being said my last bit of hope is the encouraging work of Nick Caserio and the small smart moves he has made so far. We will see how he handles the potential Watson trade as well as the bigger FA signings and draft but I have been encouraged so far! I just wanted to make a thread of the moves made so far!

Cut JJ Watt as per his request – save 17 mil Cut Duke Johnson – save 5 mil Cut Nick Martin – save 6.25 mil Cut Jon Weeks – I don’t understand this move

Restructure David Johnson – save 2.5 mil Restructure Brandin Cooks – save 6.53 mil

Sign Justin Britt to 3.25 mil guaranteed contract with up to 5 mil in incentives

We are now sitting at around $25mil in cap room with the 8 draft picks:

3rd 4th 4th from AZ 5th 6th 6th from MIA 6th from NO 7th

Obviously Watson is the big question mark but outside of that what’s next? More cuts? Scoop up some newly waived players? Trades?
