Carnival Cruise Line preps for Galveston sailings, but Gov. Abbott bans ‘vaccine passport’ requirements

Following Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, Carnival said guests must have received their final dose of a CDC-approved Covid-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to the beginning of the cruise and have proof of vaccination. But Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has joined Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in banning so-called “vaccine passport” requirements.
