Car Windshield Keeps Getting Chipped

My brand new car just got chipped twice within 2 weeks of getting the car. The second chip is a big one and is more of a crack

I’ve noticed this happens mainly on 59 close to the Smart Financial Center. Like all my chips have been within a mile of there on that freeway.

Is it just me?

Edit: Forgot to mention that before my new car I had 2 other chips on the windshields of 2 other cars. All of these chips have happened within the past 1.5 years
