Car owners of Houston!

So i need to get a new vehicle, lets start. I live/work in 45 North and beltway area. I drive to channelview area often. I am renting an apartment. Credit is good. Trying to decide what car I want. I kind of want a tesla, cadillac sedan, or bmw 3 series. I use to have a toyota tacoma but catalytic converter was stolen, also it was a lease and i had to give it back. So yeah. what are your suggestions, tips, advice, experiences on what I want, or any recommendations on purchasing or leasing a pre owned or new vehicle. certified warranty etc. some stuff i have been told by friends and co workers:" Teslas electric over hyped., cadillac/bmw causes un wanted attention, look suspicious. What yall think? Anything helps thanks! should i just get a motorcycle. fiat,smart car.
