car insurance shock

I just moved here from a no fault state and am shocked at how expensive car insurance is here and how little it covers? Is unlimited pip not an option? What happens when you have medical problems for life and lose your health insurance bc you can no longer work?

I would love some recommendations. I'm not really looking for the "cheapest" insurance, I just want good coverage. Every quote I have received so far is more than I paid in Michigan with a fraction of the coverage.
