Car followed us at 4am

It’s 4am Sunday we’re dropping off our cousin after coming back from Dallas (Shaq rave) when this car (White Dodge Challenger) makes a u-turn and decides to follow us inside the gate after he opens it remotely. Before we entered the gate he revved his engine right behind us. Our cousin: “I’ve never seen that car.” My sister is driving, she parks next to his house the car is behind us and can’t get through. He waits.

I tell my sister to park at the side so he can come through. (I thought he lived there.) She refuses and starts arguing. Cousin says he does not. “I’ve never seen that car.”

“No… he doesn’t live here.”

“Doordasher?” 😅

After he said that I realized the situation.

“Are we about to get robbed?

“Okay let’s assume the worst… We’re about to get robbed. Aright Sally you stay in and get ready to call the police. Let’s get out.” (3 men)

“Shut up” nervous laughter

As I’m getting out and he revs his engine AGAIN this time lightly.. Because of this I stare at his tinted windshield for a couple of seconds no emotion, but I was angry.

After a bit my older brother and cousin finally get out and so we’re behind the trunk moving our stuff when he decides to just leave….

Whether he/she or they wanted to rob someone or looking for a race I’ll never know… They just left without explanation or attempt at whatever they were planning. Perhaps they thought twice after seeing there was 3 men plus a driver in the car.

I joked afterwards and said my conquerer’s haki scared him. 😂 One Piece reference 🏴‍☠️

My other cousin actually got his car broken into (laptops inside a backpack + bible stolen) the day before over at Oak Forest Park. I guess crime rate really does go up during the holiday huh? Ya’ll be safe out there…
