Car broken into a George Bush Park

I had my car broken into at George Bush Park last week and I'm not really sure where it is best to park now. I have been parking off westheimer parkway. There is a police station off i-10 but I'm not sure if I can park there. I usually got for a bike ride that is several hours long so my car is unattended for a long time.
