Car break in near Washington

Woke up this Tuesday morning to find my car’s back window shattered and my car’s wires under the steering wheel all messed up. Parked in visitor parking at 6400 Washington. Car’s trunk was also rummaged through although it seems as if nothing was stolen except for my sunglasses in the visor container.

I heard Hyundai’s are being targeted because the push button start makes it easy to steal? I’m assuming this is what they were trying to do to my car, although they must have realized it was a key start and that it wasn’t going to be easy to steal.

Stay safe in Houston y’all. I never keep valuables or anything suspicious of containing valuables visible in my car, am diligent about locking my car, and park in safe areas (or so I thought). Just be careful.
