Car accident advice

So a few days ago, I was rear-ended quite viciously by someone most likely going 85 in a 40. We were both going northbound and I was hit so hard that I ended up on the other side of the median (southbound). I went to the urgent care to get checked out.

I did put in a claim already to the insurance and I’m pretty sure my car is totaled. This was really traumatic and I thank God I didn’t end up hitting anyone going southbound.

Any advice or just some checks I need to do on my end? Should I get an attorney, if so, any recommendations?

Also, the individual probably doesn’t have an active policy…..sigh
