Can’t park my car in garage due to recent EV cars catching fire. how to protect from melting in Houston?

New to Houston and I've recently bought a ev vehicle and had to leave it parked outside all day as I'm scared it may catch fire 🔥 when parked inside garage, watched may videos where ev cars were catching fire and don't want to engulf my house.

Bought a sunshield for front windshield but still getting hot and melting my seats.
