Can we please take a moment and be somewhat reasonable
Every report that this situation is "100% broken with Deshaun" or "unrepairable" or "Deshaun will demand trade" come from "SOURCES" which no one is confident enough to put their names on, especially nothing official from the mouth of Watson or his agent.
there are however articles written by Houston sports writers saying that the team in no way will entertain trading Watson, that he will be involved in the HC process, and that Easterby will have ZERO influence with any personnel or actual football decisions (Cesario will have 100% control over all of that)
How many of us have experienced big changes at our jobs? The kind that make you question whether or not you wanna be there at all? But after some time, and the proper adjustments you see that the changes have been for the better, and you end up happier than you were before?
Point being, this is FIXABLE given the right conversations happen between Cesario and Watson, and I am confident the new HC will bring in a great new energy, culture, and overall vibe. One that Watson will want to be a part of, and thrive in
For those comparing Watson to Harden need to stop. Harden was given everything he asked for on a level that only LeBron has experienced, and he couldn't win; so he threw a fit and got out. Watson is still on the rise, and isn't a diva.
I remain hopeful that this will work out. That Watson sits down with Cesario, they get a better feel for each other, develop a great relationship, and a new HC comes in to install a new culture. And I def believe that no matter what the next few weeks brings, they will NOT trade Deshaun.
