Can we all just be better?

I read the rules and think this might fall here (I am using a throwaway account because I didn't want this to be self promotion and am using a fake name in my rant.

I move around a lot, and every time I come back to Houston I just get so disappointed with the way people act. This can be said for the entire world, but since I am in Houston, I'll stick to us and our sub.

I am sick of bad people winning – with how much messed up stuff is going around the world, I wanted to put together a brief, philosophical article that just encourages people to be better.

To be clear – I do not want to reveal myself, I do not want to make a single cent on this. This is just for me to ask fellow Houstonians if you think this would help anyone? I would literally just share it and use my throwaway reddit name. I am just sick of so much evil in this world. F**k what's happening in Palestine. F**k Epstein and everyone in that circle. F**k Drake. F**k P Diddy. F**k Kevin Hart. F**k Rickey Smiley. F**k Steve Harvey. F**k Tyler Perry.

I am just pulling for Katt Williams, Kendrick Lamar, and anyone good with power at this point and I just want to do my part to inspire hope if anyone is able to help me and provide feedback. Let's make Houston better – and if anyone is interested in how I started drawing this out in my journal, I am more than happy to post here on the throwaway, I just want to remain anonymous.

Here's the statement.

Title: "Infinite Connections: Exploring the Philosophy of Life, Love, and Beyond"

Article:

Hello to whoever is reading this. Join me in a journey through thought—a 32-year-old from Houston, who, as a young boy gazing through a telescope, began pondering the vast mysteries of the universe. This journey, while deeply personal, offers insights into life, love, and our interconnected existence.

From an early age, life for me was a canvas of intense experiences. Music—from Avicii to Kendrick Lamar, from ABBA to Dua Lipa, whose "Radical Optimism" and Service95 blogs inspire a vision of positive change—was not merely auditory; it was a vivid painting of emotions thanks to my synesthesia. My family, including my loving parents, grandparents, and a series of deeply cherished dogs, grounded me. Their love, combined with my fascination for the cosmos, laid the foundation of my philosophy.

Consider our understanding of existence as a graph divided into four quadrants, where the X-axis represents our grasp on reality and the Y-axis the depth of our connections.

The Known World (Top-Left Quadrant): Here is our tangible, daily reality, governed by physical laws and the biological imperative of reproduction. Our quest for purpose often leads us to our individual interpretations of spirituality or God—a realization of our profound connections with each other. As inspired by the narrative of the movie Coco, I believe in honoring our loved ones profoundly and persistently, shaping our actions and legacies.

The Unknown World (Top-Right Quadrant): This quadrant symbolizes the enigma of the afterlife, a dimension without time, incomprehensible to us in our earthly bindings. It interacts with us subtly, through the veiled presence of lost loved ones, felt yet unseen.

Supporting Theories (Bottom-Left Quadrant): Scientific insights, such as Einstein's theory of time distortion near black holes, highlight the flexibility of our perceived reality. The stars, whose ancient lights reach us long after their demise, serve as a metaphor for the enduring nature of existence beyond our immediate perception.

Consistencies (Bottom-Right Quadrant): Through introspection and observation, I've recognized two constants: the human ego and love. These elements challenge and bind us, proving essential in our developmental journey.

Our lives are invariably marked by pain and suffering. This existential adversity is not a mere obstacle but a crucial catalyst, compelling us to evolve and unlock the best versions of ourselves. Without this transformative suffering, we risk perpetuating cycles of pain, depriving future generations of the progress they deserve. Each hardship, while daunting, is an invitation to deepen our understanding and strengthen our connections.

Through my narrative—from the agony of loss to the elation of milestones like witnessing Lionel Messi’s football prowess, and the transformative power of familial and animal love—I've realized a profound truth: the divine we often seek is mirrored in our lived experiences and the relationships we cherish. Each life moment, from the mundane to the monumental, is an expression of the divine.

This philosophy is not merely personal introspection but a clarion call to action. We are tasked with striving to be our best selves, not solely for our benefit but for the betterment of all. By cultivating goodness and understanding, and by embracing love as our guiding principle, we can ensure that the chain of humanity remains robust, empowering us to rise collectively above the shadows of division.

In the spirit of a better world, Esteban Luz
