Can Tremon Smith earn a spot as a starter next year if we don’t draft a CB? He’s had 2 great back to back games against superior talent
Tremon Smith has played hard these past few weeks. He’s still a bit inconsistent but he’s playing for something and he’s kicking ass right now. If we don’t end up drafting a top corner in the draft, do you think he can get a starting position next year? Or do you think he remains a strong depth piece and nothing more?
He’s short (5’10”) and he’s already 26, but he does run a 4.4 and he’s been playing great recently.
Maybe he just remains a strong depth piece, but I would hate to see him go. He’s a free agent this off-season.
