Can someone give me the rundown on weed in this city?

Planning on moving to the Houston area to be closer to family in the coming months. I’m stressin hard though about the weed part. All of it.

So can someone help give me some insight on what it’s like to be 420 friendly in TX? Or more specifically Harris County… How strict are they? Can I go outside and enjoy a smoke? Decompress at night without anyone bothering me or ending up in jail lol. I’m sorry if I sound like a lunatic, but I’m coming from a state where it is completely legal (dispensaries everywhere type of deal) so I just want to know what kind of shock I may be in for… I prefer smoking flower which smells and I just want to know how much being under new laws will alter the way I typically enjoy weed.

Also, how hard is it to find a good plug? I plan on having some mailed but that won’t last forever.
