Can I still drive through Houston tolls if I have an NTTA account, but no sticker?

I recently closed my EZ TAG account and switched over to NTTA. I expected to have the sticker by now, but I still haven't received it. I've read that with NTTA, as long as my vehicle is registered then I SHOULD be able to drive through tolls without the sticker, and they just use my license plate to charge my account at the normal sticker rate.

Does anybody have experience with this and can confirm or deny?
