Came across a funny stat: Record attendance at Minute Maid Park was 44,203 on 9/26/2001. Why? It was a Wednesday night game. Was there some milestone or promotion that drew the fans in aside from a rivalry game?
We did end up tying the St Louis Cardinals that year for the division lead, btw.
