Cal McNair

Cal literally had the easiest job coming in to the offseason. There was hope, from the players, fans, media. Clean slate, he could’ve amended for his mistakes for making BOB GM, and the Easterby thing. Built trust again with the organization. He failed miserably. What pains me the most is that we were so close for this situation to be turned around. The Texans were negotiating with Omar Khan. It was rumored that Khan’s guy for HC was Saleh. So we could’ve got the guy first in line for GM of the Steelers, who has been with them for 20 years and 2 SB’s, and the HC that built arguably the best coaching staff. The defensive players were tweeting in support for Saleh. Deshaun’s favorite candidate was Saleh. Imagine D4 in a Shanahan offense. My god it makes me all that more sad that we were so close to that instead of this Caserio/Cully/Easterby trio. I was so passionate and hopeful about this team, and now it’s all gone. Anyways, sorry to rant, my question is any chance he sells the team?
