Bye bye MetroNext. It’s 2005 all over again.

anyone watching the metro board meeting with the new chairperson? if you believe yourself to be a metro supporter you should be paying attention. every single form of metro expansion was spat upon in the open comments session with the new chair and new board member listening. this is just the beginning. the noise it is going to get bigger.

some of you have said "but we voted for it back in ___" guess what? too bad. it's over. and the bike lanes and other traffic diets are going with them. it's 2005 and the Richmond rail line all over again.

I am pro transit and pro pedestrian. just Very angry that we have a bunch of people who want to do nothing to move Houston forward.
