Buying house in Bellaire

Hey guys, I am thinking to buy a house in Bellaire but the problem is I heard flooding is bad….wonder has it been affecting resell price a lot? And how bad it was during last few storms over the years? I know it’s bad but just not sure how bad is it…and if the house is elevated for a few feets, how much does it really help? Thanks all!
