Buyer attempted to drive off with phone

Yes I was an idiot that shouldn’t have met in this part of town, shouldn’t have let him have the phone while he’s in his car, and a multitude of other failures on my part to avoid this.

The man started counting cash in his lap, quickly dropping it and putting the car in drive. I snatched the phone from him while he accelerated. Went straight to the nearest police station, since nothing was stolen they didn’t make a report.

Checked after and his OfferUp account is completely gone, it was verified and had many reviews.

Typically I’d meet at a police station, today I was in the area and didn’t put much care into it. Always meet people for buy/sell items at a police station no matter the person or excuse.
