Busted front adult teeth at daycare
So my 7 year old was a drop in at daycare for one day right before school started. Someone pushed her and caused her to hit something and she busted her two front teeth. They’re missing about half the tooth each. Her teeth non each side of them are also loose according to her. The teacher was not in there when it happened. I feel like she had said she was outside for something and when she came back in they told her about it all. She called me and said her tooth had been chipped. Then sends me a picture. It was more like TEETH busted, it wasn’t a chip. These are her ADULT teeth. I can’t exactly do implants as her mouth and teeth are still growing. They called the other parent and said they were willing to cover the dental bill. When I picked her up and asked the girls if there was an j coding report to sign, they looked at me clueless but they also looked like high schoolers helping out with afternoon pickups.
My question is, shouldn’t the daycare be responsible for her teeth? Should I seek legal advice regarding how the entire situation has been handled? Daycare thought I was already in contact with the other parent and said if they don’t file on their insurance, then they (daycare) will on theirs.
