Business trip to Houston, food recommendations at Kemah?

Hey everyone!

I will be visiting Houston the next 3 days for work and I just wanted some recommendations for quick bites. I will be staying near the Kemah Fire Department.

I am mostly looking for BBQ and tex-mex nearby. The more local and traditional the better. I won’t have a car, so I’m talking walking distance or short cab ride distance.

Any other recommendations regarding how to spend any free time I get are also welcome.
