Burlesque, food hall deal in EaDo scrapped amid Covid-19

A plan to reopen Conservatory, Houston’s first food hall, and its burlesque sister concept in the East Downtown district has been canceled.

CultureMap reports that original tenant Chapman & Kirby will resume operations in the East Village development at 2118 Lamar St. The revamped 15,000-square-foot restaurant will be more casual than its original version and can serve up to 200 people even at the current 25% occupancy limit, per CultureMap.
