Burbs with new construction and good schools?

Hi everyone. I’m planning on moving to Houston within the near future. I prefer having a new construction because it’s easier imo to pick a builder and plan vs buying a resale, I won’t be able to see every house I’m interested in as it’s listed (I live far from Houston atm) so my realtor has given me some suburbs with new builds including cypress,Katy, fulshear. Problem is most homes she’s given me in Katy and cypress are zoned to not so good school districts. Looking at fulshear I thought I had found the perfect place, good homes, Lamar district is rated well etc except someone told me not to move into a district zoned to Lamar HS because it’s corrupted and “ghetto” (not my words don’t shoot the messenger) so now what do I do here? Do any of the highly rated cypress or Katy schools have new builds around ?? Can anyone name other suburbs with new builds and good schools plz?? It doesn’t have to be in Katy or cypress. Help a confused person out, thanks !!
