Bunny Fosters Needed

I know a lot of shelters and foster systems are overwhelmed, and summertime is a particularly slow time for fostering with folks going on vacation, however, I wanted to put out there that Bunny Buddies is in serious need of fosters to help give abandoned and surrendered bunnies a second chance.

Bunny Buddies does not have a physical shelter to house bunnies, so fosters are the lifeblood of the whole organization. They're great communicators with their fosters and will supply you with equipment to start fostering (playpen, litter box, two weeks of litter and hay and pellets, pellet bowl, water reservoir and carpet). Bunny Buddies pays for all medical procedures that bunnies need!

Bunnies make for great foster bunnies as they're crepuscular (they're mostly active at dusk and dawn, but can be active during the day as well), which means a work schedule of 9 to 5 is typically when your bunny winds down for sleep. They don't need walks and are mostly independent, especially in pairs. Their diet consists of timothy hay (and pellets, depending on their eating habits), so buying food for bunnies is much less expensive than cats or dogs.

If you have any questions about fostering, please let me know!

Also, if you're looking for a good cause to donate to, you can donate once or monthly to a great cause. All proceeds go to medical care and equipment to help foster rabbits.

Thank you!
