Budget breakdown

My wife and I are planning to immigrate to Houston. We know what we can expect to earn but are uncertain as to possible hidden costs and average monthly expenditures. We plan to rent a 3 bedroom house when we arrive.

We would appreciate any guidance on what standard middle income expenses are in terms of food, fuel, cars, medical, entertainment (if affordable) etc. thanks in advance!
