BP’s Kate Thomson takes on CFO role permanently

London-based BP PLC (NYSE: BP), which has its U.S. headquarters in Houston, has named Kate Thomson its permanent CFO and a member of the board of directors. This is the latest C-level change at BP stemming from the abrupt resignation of former CEO Bernard Looney in September 2023.
