Boyfriend’s 28th birthday is coming up, any ideas on a cool place to go?

It is our first time celebrating his birthday in HTX, and I want to make it a memorable one. I’m just not really sure what’s out here. We live in the Heights area and have a strip of bars over by The Moonshine Deck that I was thinking of hitting, but wanted to check here first in case anyone had any better ideas. He loves beer, coffee, video games, and art. All ideas appreciated, doesn’t have to be in the Heights area!
