Bougie Christmas Date Night Ideas

Hello Hello,

I'm a Louisianian next door and love love love getting dressed up in a cocktail dress, making my man wear a jacket (lol), and go to dinner in New Orleans around Christmas–along with staying in a "swanky" hotel (c'mon, it's New Orleans, ya'll). I love going somewhere delicious for dinner, take a photo at the Roosevelt with all of the gorgeous lights, and make our rounds to the fancy bars in the French Quarter/Uptown drinking all the Christmas cocktails.

How can I have a simliar experience in HTX this year? Finishing my master's in civil engineering and want to change things up a bit. Have this showstopper red dress with a huge bow, Toccin NY–$1,000 dress I got for $30–I HAVE to wear it! I deserve my moment for busting my ass in engineering school the last two years! LOL!

Give me your fancy hotel recs for downtown, best "bougie" Christmas photo op (whether that's in a hotel, or wherever downtown), best fancy dinner, and all the swanky bars that will be mixing holly jolly cocktails. I'd typically just do my own research if it were any other time, but I've never really been to HTX around the holidays.

The next day, we will resume being normal millennials in sneakers. Not every day fancy folks, but know how to be if it permits. Thanks in advance
