Boring city for single people

If you are single and don’t know nobody in Houston, just stay away from this city!!! I’ve been living here for 6 months, after living in Elizabeth (New Jersey) and New York. There is nothing going on, it’s hard to find nice events, and if you finally find somewhere to go « like club » it’s packed as hell. As a single woman it’s hard to meet people because everybody there is always in company(family, friend or couple). The city is ugly, you will have to spend a lot of gas just to go somewhere. I was saving way more money in New York City than in Houston with the same salary. Every time I go out I feel disappointed of the city! People here are so ghetto or extremely wealthy who like to show off. No nature… no nothing. I think I’m done for tonight
