Birthday party for my mom’s 60th?

For the entire 30 years I’ve lived, I’ve never seen my mom hold a birthday party for herself. It was always family vacations with my brother and my me.

She recently voiced how she would enjoy having all her friends together, but rarely do because of how life is (schedule, family, work, etc). Now that she’s turning 60, the best gift I can imagine is inviting all her friends (about 20 of them) to celebrate.

The only issue is her house is not the best venue since it’s quite old and small.

Where in Houston would be the best place to host a birthday party for a group of 50+ year olds? Thank you.
