Big queue of cars downtown this morning 12/23/23 ~ anyone know what it was for?

The Polk exit of 59-N was blocked by cops, huge line of cars, all in park, bending out of downtown and taking up the 2 left lanes along Chartres Street. People just hanging out in their cars waiting. Anyone know what that was? I biked by around 9:45am and was very perplexed.
